About the team
The Bid Management department is a team of 9 colleagues from different nationalities and with varying backgrounds like technical, legal, commercial and military. As a team we are responsible for the timely construction of winning proposals and their accompanying price, in line with the agreed objectives. Within this department we are in search for a
Bid Manager
As a bid manager, you will also be part of one of our Customer Account Teams (CAT). These multi-disciplinary, result-oriented teams consists of one or more Bid Managers, plus Sales Managers, Project Managers, Service & Delivery Managers and/or System Architects, all focused on one or a set of key accounts. Being part of a CAT places you in direct contact with our customers and might even provide the challenge of capturing a lead yourself!
About your future job
Your main goal is the winning / capturing of sales opportunities by offering the right solution at the right price to our customers to serve our end-users. Your role is essential in winning tomorrows projects.
To achieve this, you will lead the internal bid team, existing of specialists from various disciplines. For most of our offers, we work together closely with other Thales entities or industrial partners. Our technical solutions are, more often than not, part of a larger system. As bid manager, you work together with colleagues worldwide to make sure everything adds up and comes together.
