We take pride in the positive impact we make on the world around us and have delivered practical and innovative solutions for over 60 years, building a better future for everyone.
We are looking for a Bid Manager, or experienced Bid Coordinator ready for the next step, to join our team in the North West.
Ideally based in Manchester, this role will primarily support our Northern Business Units and play a key role in producing winning bids - shaping clear, compelling and competitive submissions in collaboration with our technical teams.
While your day-to-day focus will be regional, you will be part of our national bid team – working to shared standards, contributing to best practice and, where required, collaborating on opportunities across other regions to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to work winning.
Leading and coordinating end-to-end bid submissions, developing clear, tailored responses with strong win themes.
Managing timelines, inputs and quality assurance to deliver polished, compliant submissions.
Maintaining and continuously improving our bid library to ensure content is current, organised and impactful.
Producing high quality, bespoke case studies, CVs and capability materials.
Using advanced InDesign skills and strong design capability to deliver polished, on-brand documents supported by effective graphics and infographics.
Proven experience leading and delivering bids and other work winning documents within the built environment sector, with a genuine enthusiasm to win work for the business.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple bids and tasks simultaneously, while coordinating effectively with remote teams and senior leaders across the business.
Confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, lead bid meetings at various stages and secure buy-in through positive collaboration.
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., APMP, CIM) or equivalent experience.
Beyond experience, we are looking for someone proactive and motivated by producing high-quality work, who thrives in a team environment. You will be naturally curious, asking the right questions to uncover strong win themes and clear differentiators. Above all, you will be guided by integrity - kind, conscientious and proud of both the work you deliver, the projects we win and the legacy our profession creates.
