About the Job

We are a leading electrical and mechanical building services engineering consultancy based in Dublin, delivering complex, high-value projects across the EMEA region. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and driven Bid Executive to join our Strategy & Growth team.

Reporting to the Strategic Growth Enablement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we go to market, owning the end-to-end bid process and producing compelling, high-quality proposals that win work. You will collaborate closely with our Leadership Team and technical experts across sectors including Data Centres, Sustainability, Industrial & Energy, Smart Buildings, and Programme Management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and wants to make a tangible impact on the growth of a forward-thinking engineering consultancy.

About You

Essential:

  • Must be based in Ireland

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a bids, tenders, proposals, pre-sales, or sales support role

  • A collaborative, proactive mindset — comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality and accuracy

Desirable:

  • Experience in the engineering, construction, or professional services sector

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or similar design/desktop publishing tools

  • Familiarity with public procurement frameworks and tender portals

  • Develop persuasive, well-structured, and visually polished bid and tender documents tailored to each client and project

  • Conduct thorough client and market research to understand requirements, pain points, and priorities, and reflect these clearly in our proposals

  • Work cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and leadership teams — as well as subcontractor partners — to gather and synthesise the information needed to build winning submissions

  • Coordinate the compilation of technical and financial content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the client's brief

  • Maintain and continuously improve a library of bid content, CVs, project case studies, and standard responses

  • Proactively review and refine bid materials, applying lessons learned to raise the quality bar with each submission

  • Support the Strategic Growth Enablement Lead in driving best practice across the bid function and contributing to the team's broader strategic growth objective.
