Bicycle Patrol Security Officer – Full Time – Seattle, WA

Wage: $28.90/Hour

Available Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm-10:45pm

We are searching for Bicycle Patrol Security Officers to join our Mobile Response Team (MRT). Our Mobile Response Team provides rapid emergency deployment of officers into developing incidents. These officers work independently and are capable of individual critical decision-making skills without supervision.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Rove, patrol, and survey the property outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Monitor standard security and radio communication to handle and escalate incidents as needed.
• Only to perform first aid within their scope of training.
• Ensure client medical forms are filled out and collected properly.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• 2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Must be able to operate a bicycle.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation measures.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
