Position: Senior Data Architect

Location: McLean, VA

Duration: Contract/Fulltime

Onsite: 5 Days Onsite

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data architectures and data products for a large financial services client.
• Act as the senior technical and client-facing lead to translate business objectives into data strategy, roadmaps, and implementable solutions that enable analytics, reporting, risk, and operational use cases.
• Drive company’s capability and commercial footprint within the client’s data domain by identifying opportunities, co-creating proofs-of-concept, and aligning solution proposals with the client’s strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with client business and IT leaders to define data strategy, target architecture, and product roadmaps that address business needs.
  • Design end-to-end data architectures for data products such as data warehouses, data lakes/bronze-silver-gold pipelines, real-time/streaming feeds, master data solutions, and data marts for analytics and reporting.
  • Lead data modeling efforts (logical, conceptual, physical) and define canonical data models, reference architectures, and integration patterns across mortgage systems, third-party feeds, and investors.
  • Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality, and master data management approaches to ensure trusted data for downstream consumers.
  • Build and lead proofs-of-concept and solution demos to validate architectures, performance, and operational readiness; convert POCs into production-ready implementations with the delivery team.
