The purpose of this role is to support and maintain the application platforms to ensure that they are reliable, scalable, maintainable and high availability.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of BI and data support analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing support environment.
Technical Support: Oversee the provision of technical support for BI tools and data management systems, including Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve complex issues related to data quality, data integration, report generation, and system performance.
User Assistance: Ensure end-users receive effective assistance with BI tool usage, report creation, and data analysis, promoting the effective use of BI solutions across the organization.
Data Validation: Oversee data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports and data outputs.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and common issues to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Incident Management: Track and manage support incidents using a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
Collaboration: Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and other technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving support processes and enhancing user experience.
