BI Developer – Tableau Specialist

We are looking for a BI Developer with strong Tableau expertise to support the design, optimization, and publication of business intelligence dashboards. The consultant will work on data preparation, dashboard development, performance tuning, and deployment of reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
• 
  Create clear and user-friendly data visualizations following data visualization best practices.
• 
  Prepare, clean, and transform data using Tableau Prep Builder.
• 
  Develop or adapt SQL queries to support reporting requirements.
• 
  Ensure data quality and consistency between source systems and dashboards.
• 
  Connect Tableau solutions to various data sources and manage data extracts.
• 
  Optimize dashboard performance, loading times, and query efficiency.
• 
  Publish and manage dashboards on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
• 
  Support users and stakeholders in the use and adoption of BI solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  Proven experience with Tableau Desktop for dashboard development and data visualization.
• 
  Strong knowledge of Tableau Prep Builder for data preparation and transformation.
• 
  Experience with Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud administration and publication.
• 
  Good SQL skills and experience working with data sources and reporting datasets.
• 
  Understanding of dashboard performance optimization and best practices.
• 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Languages

• 
  French: Native or fluent professional proficiency.

Work Environment

• 
  Hybrid working model.
• 
  Location: Brussels, Belgium.
• 
  Part-time consulting assignment (20 days of services through the end of 2026).
