Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Business Intelligence Analytics Developer. Reports to the Manager, Business Intelligence Analytics, identifying Firm BI needs and designing and developing solutions, including complex reports and dashboard development, that drive value for the Firm.
This position will reside in our Philadelphia office and offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Develops complex analytical dashboards and reporting solutions for partners, legal staff, firm management, and administrative users.
Develops standards for reporting.
Determines requirements and assists in developing for centralized, governed data sources and develop processes to ensure accuracy of data.
Develops key performance indicators to meet the requirements of key business drivers
Implement business rules in applicable BI applications.
Work with business functions to identify and implement BI solutions to solve specific business problems.
Develops statistical modelling and analysis work required for BI solutions.
Helps develop skills and support BI Analytics Analysists.
Determines appropriate benchmarks for identified firm goals.
Coordinate with IT department for infrastructure and database support.
Coordinate with and support embedded analysts in other firm administrative departments (for example, analysts in Practice Operations department).
Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, or similar field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong technical expertise in reporting, analytics, and database tools, including Excel, Power BI, Access/VBA, SQL Server, Visual Studio, SSRS, Tableau, Qlik, and Jira.
Proficient in Access, work group specific, Visual Basic database software.
Experience with Elite Financial Systems would be preferred.
Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, solve problems, and draw actionable conclusions.
Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret metrics, ratios, percentages, graphs, and charts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees, clients, and vendors.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
