Health Affiliates Maine (HAM) is a mental health and substance abuse agency founded to help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and to support mental health professionals.
With its statewide network of clinicians, case managers, and Behavioral Health Home teams, HAM provides outpatient therapy, substance abuse counseling, case management, psychiatric treatment, and integrated care.
For individuals, HAM works to normalize the reality that all of us struggle at some point with mental health or substance abuse issues.
For mental health professionals, HAM works as an advocate, insurance biller, and red tape navigator, so they can focus on what matters: helping Mainers build resilience and reach their potential.
