Job Posting: Beverage Supervisor at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

We are seeking a dedicated Beverage Supervisor to oversee the activities of bartenders, beverage servers, and bar attendants at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will ensure that all team members perform their duties according to company policies and deliver exceptional guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise bartenders, beverage servers, and bar attendants during shifts.
• Maintain excellent guest service standards.
• Ensure proper staffing aligns with forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines
• Communicate policy and procedure changes to team members.
• Report issues to the Beverage Manager and relevant departments.
• Ensure thorough communication between shifts.

• Collaborate with all departments for effective communication.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Monitor guest flow and inform management of labor needs during peak and slow periods.

• Ability to understand and communicate Material Safety Data Sheets to team members.
• Attendance and successful completion of RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) required.
• Adherence to the Cut Off Procedure with complete documentation submitted to Guest Safety, Beverage Manager, and the Director of Food & Beverage.
• Address and resolve team member complaints or escalate to manager as necessary.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Support team members in their duties as needed.
• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards.
• Ensure sufficient materials and products are available.
• Ensure proper rotation of products.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Comprehensive knowledge of all job-related procedures.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to interface effectively with guests and team members in English.
• Proven track record of sound judgment and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Cooperative, helpful, and friendly demeanor with a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Proficiency in using a computer for entering requisitions.
• Ability to communicate concerns and observations on the shift report.
• Support all departments with requests or assistance.
• Successful completion and maintenance of certification in "Serv-Safe" (Food Sanitation Management) within 120 days of employment.
• Preferred prior supervisory experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Preferred experience in a high-volume outlet.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.

Certifications:

• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking and sitting
• Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently
