
The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring optimum service to all guests is being provided at all times. They will monitor all areas of the property’s Beverage outlets for cleanliness and hazards, ensure that the staff is well groomed and in the proper uniform, and complete scheduled inventories and stock requisitions.
Ensures that the Beverage staff is working as a team to ensure optimum service to all
guests of the venue.
Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary tools and supplies,
cleaning all equipment, locking doors, etc.
Inspect grooming and attire of the staff and rectify any deficiencies.
Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition any necessary supplies.
Monitor rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guests.
Train and supervise all outlet staff on the proper procedures, etiquette and standards of
the venue.
Performs other related duties as necessary.
Must be available for scheduled work.
Must follow the Family Style Service values at all times.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises the staff of the Beverage department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Tropicana Entertainment’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree required. One to three years of related experience and/or training in a similar food/beverage outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
