Beverage Storeroom Clerk Purchasing
Job Title: Beverage Storeroom Clerk
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

As a member of the Purchasing department, this position will receive, store, issue, and distribute beverage products throughout the hotel.

What you will be doing:
• Receives beverage deliveries to include sorting of pallets for proper storage, checking of product for quality and quantity against ordered goods on receiving worksheets (PO), checking of quantity against supplier invoice, monitoring necessary adjustments by driver on invoice and noting all substitutions.
• Organizes receiving worksheets and return authorizations prior to deliveries.
• Physically inspects produce and beverage coolers, rotates stock, disposes of obsolete product, and completes spoilage reports for inventory control.
• Check out and inspect forklift from main receiving warehouse; to include check of oil, radiator, hydraulic & brake fluids, fuel, tires and hydraulic operations.
• All returns are loaded on supplier truck and signed for by driver.
• Completes receiver log sheet and noting deviations in quality, quantity or accountability.
• Ensure that direct order items are separated by outlet and prepared for transportation.
• As needed transfers dry goods to smaller carts for transport to dry goods storeroom.
• Breaks down all staged goods and stores.
• Rotate all stored goods.
• Assists in monthly inventory.
• Adheres to FI-FO (first in-first out) concept in storage/issuing of all products.
• Pulls, organizes, and loads requisitioned items on transportation carts from freezers, coolers and dry storage areas.
• Issues pick-up orders to departments.
• Emphasis placed on correct unit of measure issue.
• Delivers beverage storeroom requisitions by hand cart to main building kitchens/ outlets.
• Prepares beverage storeroom requisitions for distribution by truck to all other outlets
• Pull and deliver beverage requisitions based on a bottle for bottle system.
• Check quality and quantities of requisitioned goods with originating department representative. All requisitions must be signed off by both clerk and department representative at time of delivery.
• Returns completed and signed requisitions to inventory control clerks for computer processing.
• Reacts appropriately to all emergency orders.
• Assists in pickup of ordered goods as necessary; may include pick-ups in company vehicle from suppliers.
• Cleans storerooms, equipment, and coolers on a scheduled basis.
• Spot inventories are conducted on an ongoing basis.
• Works in conjunction with directives from executive chef and food & beverage director.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, or three months related experience and/or training.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
◦ Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs with assistance.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
