Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Food and Beverage team, the Beverage Shift Supervisor is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Beverage Shift Supervisor inspires, supports, and motivates Team Members to provide exceptional service and create memorable experiences for Guests while managing daily beverage operations.
Position Functions
Essential Functions
•    Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
•    Support and motivate Team Members while ensuring team responsibilities are being performed according to established departmental standards.
•    Manage daily operations, ensuring exceptional Guest service while maintaining beverage quality standards.
•    Ensure all standards and steps of service are met through all Guest interactions, addressing Guests' opportunities as necessary.
•    Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
•    Monitor inventory, place beverage orders following a par set forth by the department, and ensure all beverage supplies and other bar essentials are adequately stocked.
•    Participate in the menu development of new concepts.
•    Assist the Beverage Manager in working closely with Marketing and Brand and Guest Experience departments to ensure that all promotions and collateral updates (including social media and website information and menu updates) are done promptly.
•    Ensure all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted promptly.
•    Ensure positive working relationships with all distributors and vendors.
•    Ensure equipment maintenance by calling for repairs while using proper standard operating procedures to report and fix these issues.
•    Conduct competitive research and report trends and recommendations.
•    Prepare periodic status reports related to Beverage operations.
•    Provide technical services/support to the Beverage Manager.
•    Other duties as assigned.

•    Serves as the subject matter expert on departmental processes and procedures.
•    Assist in recruitment, hiring, training, and Team Member engagement.
•    Lead coaching, corrective counseling, and performance evaluations to Leads and Team Members.
•    Set and oversee objectives and development for Leads and Team Members.
•    Develop and adjust schedules to align with business requirements.
•    Assists with employment terminations exclusively under the guidance and oversight of department management.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
•    Must be at least 21 years of age.
•    Associate degree in Business Management, Hospitality, and/or a related field.
•    2+ years as a Beverage Supervisor or a similar position in the hospitality industry.
•    Proficiency in Beverage Management software such as Micros, Agilysys, or similar software.
•    Knowledge of food health and safety principles and regulations.
•    Familiarity with training Team Members.
•    Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications:
•    3+ years in a Beverage department in the hospitality industry.
•    Casino experience.
•    Additional industry certifications.
