As an Accounting Assistant you will join the Finance France team, made up of 3 people, whose role is to ensure the reliability of financial information, support the company’s transformation projects, and guarantee compliance with French accounting and tax regulations in a fast-evolving environment.

YOUR RO LE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Contributing to the implementation of e-invoicing and e-reporting processes for the French scope
• Supporting the inventory and monitoring of fixed assets for French entities, mainly IT assets
• Assisting the team with monthly closing activities
• Participating in daily accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Contributing to continuous improvement and optimization projects of accounting processes

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness, energy and a good sense of humor!

This apprenticeship is for you if:

• You are a Master’s student (Bac+4/5), in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Good understanding of accounting principles (French GAAP – PCG)
• Comfortable working in both French and English in a professional environment
• Good command of Excel and be generally at ease with digital tools
• Rigorous, organized, and able to meet deadlines, especially in fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

If your application is shortlisted, Mathilde or Adèle will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (20 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

You will then meet Laurence, Head of Finance France, and Vivien, Senior Accountant, who will be your future mentor.

Finally, Mathilde or Adèle will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes around 4 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
