Job Description

The BES District Manager (BESDM) is primarily responsible for promoting and selling Polyglass Waterproofing products in the assigned territory while developing relationships with distribution, consultants, contractors, and architects. In addition to meeting a monthly budgeted sales plan, the position will help forecast trends and acquire competitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains existing sales and grows additional sales at current customer base under the direction of the RSL.

• Implements sales strategy as defined by the Regional Sales Leadership Team.

• Actively prospects new distributors, contractors and specifiers.

• Manages projects from the specification stage to full completion.

• Explores project leads / opportunities that are in an assigned geographical sales district.

• Conducts trainings and presentations with the following groups: Architectural, Distribution, Consultant, and Contractor.

• Uses basic troubleshooting skills to handle day-to-day problem solving at assigned customer locations in sales district.

• Responsible for reporting and providing updates/next steps for the following: product problems, competitive activities, trends, and new sales opportunities at existing accounts in sales district.

• Partners closely with the specifier community to develop Polyglass specified BES systems.

• Effectively plans and organizes work to get efficient and effective results.

• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of industry experience as a sales representative or any equivalent combination of related training and experience is required.

• Required High School or equivalent completion

• Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 25% or as needed to fulfill business needs
