A day in the life:

The Human Resources Benefits Specialist is responsible for benefits administration, leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, and other HR projects and initiatives as assigned. The position will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and Company policies and procedures. This position will collaborate with the HR team members in their respective areas of responsibilities, and interact with employees and other departments in facilitating benefits administration.

  • Maintains global benefits information, and provides recommendations, opinions and support on benefits by country.
  • Facilities open enrollment and day to day enrollment changes into the benefit programs, conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy, and facilitate renewals and open enrollment.
  • Maintain various benefit census reports, both internal and external.
  • Partner with employees and benefit providers to resolve benefit inquiries/questions and issues.
  • Support all leaves of absence processing, including medical, FMLA, PDL, STD, LTD, military, personal leaves and workers compensation. Coordinates all leaves with the employee, department managers and the payroll department.
  • Assess reasonable accommodations under the ADA when applicable.
  • Respond to employee related injuries in a time sensitive manner, facilitate medical treatment and workers’ compensation process.
  • Supports administration of the workers' compensation program. Responsibilities include claims monitoring and administration, report generation, and communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers, medical personnel, etc.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Leaves of absence and workers compensation experience required.
  • Multi-state experience required. Global experience a plus.
  • Must be organized, able to multitask and manage competing priorities while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A forward thinking, perceptive individual, capable of influencing others and effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of the Company. Excellent customer service and team oriented.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to prioritize/multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and ability to shift priorities based on the organizations’ needs.
  • Self-motivated and able to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions, take ownership/accountability and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Integrity, professionalism, discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality essential.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.).

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

$29$37 USD
