Our client, a Global Financial Services company is seeking a detail oriented Client Account Specialist focused in the area of Benefits.

Responsibilities:

The Client Account Specialist will join our client and provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams and external clients. They will play a vital role in the setup, maintenance, and management of client accounts for Health & Benefits (H&B) and COBRA services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate setup and ongoing maintenance of client accounts, including all necessary documentation.
  • Research and resolve product and service issues to meet client needs and support retention goals.
  • Manage the accuracy of financial and insurance transactions for client accounts.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing prompt and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and documentation to ensure compliance with state, federal, and insurance partner requirements.
  • Utilize multiple software applications, including HRIS and ORS systems, to address client inquiries and manage data input.
  • Participate in product-related projects and training to stay updated on industry developments and internal processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, customer service, and billing processes; familiarity with health insurance is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and professional communication skills.
