Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Benefits Service Administrator I in our Human Resources Department for our Columbus, OH location.

In this role you will be responsible for performing customer service and administratvie duties associated with the daily operation of the Human Resources Benefits Department. Your responsibilities will include answering and responding to phone calls and emails regarding benefits questions, being the primary point of contact for all Benefits-related presentations and marketing materials, preparing insurance notifications for new associates in monthly emails, helping to distribute benefits related forms to associates, filing, scanning, and maintaining confidentiality of all Company Records.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Two (2) years' experience in a business/benefits environment or an Associate's Degree in a business related field.
  • An intermediate level computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). It requires the ability to quickly grasp new computer related functions
  • The abililty to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • This position requires the ability to read and write small numbers and letters; and the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Additional Information:

This is a Monday- Friday role, 1st shift hours
