Under limited supervision of the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the Benefits Manager administers and coordinates employee benefits, retirement, leave and related areas to support a highly complex human resources program for a major state agency with approximately 1,200 employees, including permanent, temporary grant, time-limited and temporary-hourly positions. The role serves as the primary point-of- contact for employees regarding insurance, retirement, workers compensation, leave administration and wellness activities.
This position is located in the Office of Human Resources.
A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in insurance or retirement programs. A combination of relevant work experience and education may be considered.
