The Impact you will have in this role:

Responsible in leading and planning the day-to-day benefits activities, including interfacing with Benefits Third Party administrators, benefits consultants, Payroll and Benefits Managers to ensure error free execution of Benefit processing activities, including Open Enrollment, Wellbeing, content creation on DTCC's internal communication platform, Disability and other core benefits.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end to end APAC Benefits operations.
  • Partners with Benefits team members on implementation of core benefit processes, including Health and Welfare
  • Manage the administration of employee benefit programs
  • Manages implementation of Wellbeing initiatives by assisting with program communication, implementation and results tracking.
  • Manage relationships with consultants and service providers and services as point of contact to ensure flawless execution of our benefit programs.
  • Understand and ensure plans are compliant with local laws. Ensures compliance of benefit programs including partnering with Counsel on updating Plan Documents and Summary Plan Descriptions.
  • Support global market review of benefits competitiveness, documenting market trend research and maintaining pulse on regulatory changes impacting benefits
  • Helps execute against vendor management process, ensuring risk and control processes in place minimize gaps and address risk
  • Participates in development and delivery of benefits-related communications (memos, WebEx sessions, etc.).
  • Provides backup to team members for their assigned Benefits area.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues/errors with Alight, vendors and/or payroll
  • Support internal and external audit activities by responding to requests for evidence and providing information about benefits processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation to accurately reflect benefits processes
  • Provides data management, analytics and reporting support
  • Oversees the administration of leave of absence management
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
  • Oversee employee and plan issues to resolution by working with service provider.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
  • People manager for Benefits team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a people manager
  • With strong experience in project management and in leading market and Global initiatives.
  • With strong experience in managing HR Operations. Experience in global benefits will be a plus.
  • With strong experience in leading, planning and implementing system automations.
  • Proactive and does have an innovative mindset.
  • With strong experience in planning and leading operations for multiple markets.
  • Must be amenable to work Mid shift (2pm to 11pm)

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Strong knowledge on HR Operations.
  • Understand and ensure plans are compliant with regulations.
  • Strong data management and analytics, PC skills, including Excel, Word, etc.
  • Maintains high level of professionalism and composure at all times
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management and leadership skills
