This is an individual contributor, manager-level, exempt role responsible for the administration and delivery of the Company’s employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, leave of absence (LOA), and workers’ compensation. In addition, this role performs senior-level HR generalist work, partnering closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to support employee lifecycle activities, policy execution, and HR programs.
This a hands-on, program-focused role that bridges benefits expertise and HR execution. The position serves as a subject-matter expert and trusted partner to HRBPs and leaders.
Responsibilities and Duties
Benefits Administration & Programs
Own the day-to-day administration of U.S. employee benefits programs, including:
Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
Lead annual open enrollment, including vendor coordination, employee communications, and issue resolution
Serve as primary point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators
Manage monthly premium reconciliation and partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure accuracy
Support benchmarking, cost analysis, and program evaluations to inform benefit enhancements
Maintain benefits policies, documentation, and intranet content
Leave of Absence (LOA) & Workers’ Compensation
Oversee administration of all leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and company-specific leaves
Coordinate with third-party administrators, managers, payroll, and HRBPs to ensure compliant and consistent leave management
Manage workers’ compensation claims, carrier interactions, and return-to-work coordination
Provide guidance and education to employees and managers on leave and WC processes
Senior HRG/ HRBP Support
Partner with HRBPs to support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, internal movements, and offboarding
Act as a senior HR resource for managers and employees on policies, benefits, and HR programs
Provide documentation, analysis, and process support for employee relations matters in partnership with HRBPs
Support recruiting onboarding and offboarding processes as needed
Contribute to HR initiatives such as policy updates, training materials, and process improvements
Compliance, Reporting & Program Support
Ensure compliance with applicable employment, benefits, and leave-related laws
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records within HRIS systems
Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting related to benefits, LOA, and program metrics
Support internal and external audits, regulatory filings, and data requests
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
6–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant hands-on benefits administration
Strong working knowledge of:
Benefits program administration
LOA (FMLA, CFRA, ADA) and workers’ compensation
HR compliance and employment law fundamentals
Experience partnering closely with HRBPs in support of client groups
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (strong Excel & PowerPoint skills preferred)

Salary Range: $132,000- $165,000 (Annual Base Salary)
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This program is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional guidance and protective equipment, as necessary, will be provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety training.
