About Us

Cambridge Management, Inc. (CMI) began in 1987 as a small team managing a portfolio of communities in Tacoma, Washington. Our focus soon shifted to providing quality management for affordable housing communities. These affordable communities provide homes for those with limited incomes including families, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. Today, our team has grown to nearly 500 employees managing 120 communities and more than 11,000 apartment homes. Our portfolio includes market rate, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and Project-Based Section-8 communities that range in size from 6 to 344 units. We currently manage communities in California, Florida, Hawaii, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington State, and Virginia.

Position Salary Range: $26.00 to $30.00

Paid time off:

  • An accrual of 80 hours Vacation.
  • Up to 6 paid sick days per year. (varies based on state sick leave laws)
  • 8 paid holidays
  • 2 paid floating holidays.

Cambridge Management, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Benefits and Leave Admin who will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities which requires a general understanding of Human Resources functions. The Benefits and Leave Admin performs human resources-related duties and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: training, recruiting, and HRIS system implementation & maintenance.

Requirements

Essential Functions

The primary functions for this position are:

  • Benefit and Leave administration tasks include: benefit management and oversight, leave and accommodation processing, workers compensation claims oversight
  • Answers calls, emails and responds to employee Leave, Benefit, and accommodation inquiries and requests
  • Oversight of workers compensation program
  • Data entry into HRIS system, provider websites, and excel workbooks
  • Create and maintains benefit, leave, and accommodation files and tracking reports
  • Uses HRIS (UKG) to enter and extract employee data; develop and run reports.
  • Annual reporting/compliance duties including: 1095-C, OSHA 300 log, 1094-C, 401(k) audits, 5500 forms, ACA audits
  • Other Human Resources tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of state and federal leave and accommodation laws
  • Multi state Human Resources experience preferred (WA, OR, CA)
  • 1 year experience with benefit administration
  • 1 year experience with managing workers compensation claims, multi-state experience preferred
  • 2 years' experience in Human Resources department preferred
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Experience using HRIS software preferred, UKG experience a plus!
  • Ability to work in a fact paced office
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • A strong desire to learn and grown in the HR field

Must be able to complete all required training within thirty (30) days of hire date.
