- - - The Benefits and Entitlements Specialist supports the agency’s revenue and billing operations by ensuring all available funding sources are accurately identified, maintained, and accessed for services provided. Through ongoing monitoring and review of documentation related to individuals’ benefits—including Medicaid, Social Security, SNAP, and other entitlements—the Specialist helps ensure continued eligibility and prevents interruptions or loss of benefits.
- - - This position works closely with the Billing Specialist to verify that all required billing source documentation and approvals are entered into our system prior to billing and may perform project work related to our finance and accounting operations.

QualificationsThe Benefits and Entitlements Specialist must possess strong knowledge of government benefit programs, eligibility requirements, and regulatory safeguards to ensure compliance and the responsible stewardship of public funds.
Minimum qualifications to be considered include:
High School Diploma/equivalent with 3+ years experience with governmental benefits;
Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs;
Ability to travel to agency sites to review documentation and financial systems.
