This position is mainly virtual but requires the flexibility of the incumbent to come into the office in Olympia infrequently or as business needs arise.
The ideal candidate for the Benefits Administrator (HRC2) position is a detail-oriented, Human Resources professional with deep expertise in employee benefits administration and compliance.
This position will join our Payroll Team. The candidate will bring a strong foundation in benefits administration, compliance, human resource policies, enabling them to provide expert guidance and counsel to managers, supervisors, and employees. With a commitment to equity, integrity, and confidentiality, they administer health benefit actions and shared leave donations for eligible employees in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC).
This candidate excels in managing benefits transactions and data within systems such as HRMS and Benefits 24/7. They are proactive, adaptable, and collaborative and should be comfortable in providing training and consultation on HR programs, benefits eligibility, and compliance processes.
As the Benefits Administrator, you will serve as the agency’s designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) for health including medical, dental, life, Long Term Disability (LTD), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP).
