
The Team
The Cost Transformation Accelerator (CTX) team’s mission is to drive strategic transformation of our costs to enable PepsiCo’s ambitious growth & profitability aspirations. The Cost Benchmarking & Visibility (CB&V) team is a critical component of CTX that leverages deep, strategic insights and analytics to help the organization identify and pursue areas of cost transformation for our biggest markets and cost categories.
In addition to driving insights, the CB&V team will also be building a digital benchmarking solution that will provide enhanced cost visibility across our key markets across the globe. The team will systematically execute deep dives that support market cost transformation while also providing key inputs into the tool’s design.
The Job
This Benchmarking and Insights Director role will work closely with market leaders and functional experts across our top markets within PepsiCo for both Foods and Beverages. This role will be heavily focused on conducting strategic deep dives into key productivity opportunities across Make, Move, and Sell to solve, identify and prioritize incremental cost transformation opportunities markets could pursue. The work will be fast-paced, mostly project-based, deeply analytical, and hinge on the ability to translate analytics into clear and compelling stories that influence the organization.
To be successful in this role you will need to be perpetually curious, enjoy building an intimate knowledge of our cost structure, operating models, and profit drivers, and be fueled by analytically linking key choices to key outcomes end-to-end at a granular and actionable level. A thorough understanding of E2E costs across Make, Move, and Sell and exposure to key P&L lines will be critical for success. The individual will also need to be comfortable learning and thinking E2E about our top global markets, managing global stakeholders and global processes. The role currently has one direct report will need to be able to lead diverse matrixed teams via highly collaborative ways of working in a project-based environment. In addition, you should be comfortable with building and giving presentations to multiple levels of the organization and have strong organization /time-management skills.
