Belly Dump Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Belly Dump Driver to join our transportation team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations while working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to operate heavy-duty dump trucks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate belly dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, or other bulk commodities to designated locations

- Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance

- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues

- Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

- Proven experience operating belly dump or similar heavy-duty trucks

- Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic regulations

- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record

- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including loading and unloading materials

Salary Description
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour (depending on experience)
