Greet every arriving and departing guest with a warm welcome, using their name to create a personal connection from the very first moment Escort guests to their rooms, assist with luggage, and ensure they feel fully at home in the hotel Store and retrieve guest luggage for both day visits and overnight stays Share your knowledge of the hotel's amenities, services, and the surrounding Wilmington community, offering dining and entertainment recommendations with confidence Serve as an ambassador for HOTEL DU PONT and the city we are proud to call home
Who You Are
natural people-person who finds genuine joy in making others feel welcome Polished, attentive, and able to engage guests and team members with warmth and professionalism at all times Resourceful and responsive, with the ability to fulfill guest requests, including challenging ones, in a timely manner Physically able to stand, walk, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable navigating stairs throughout a shift Flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A High School diploma or equivalent is required; prior guest-facing hospitality experience is a plus
