Responsibilities

• Stand at designated locations during scheduled shifts, ringing a bell to attract attention and encourage donations.
• Engage with passersby in a friendly and inviting manner, sharing information about the cause and its impact on the community.
• Maintain a positive demeanor, even during challenging weather conditions or low foot traffic times.
• Ensure the donation kettle is secure and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on duty to ensure a safe environment for both yourself and the public.
• Assist with set-up and take-down of donation stations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old or older.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
• A friendly and approachable personality that reflects enthusiasm for the cause.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience in customer service or volunteer work is preferred but not required.
