Action Property Management is seeking a full-time Bell Person/ Porter to join our team at our luxury association, 181 Fremont, in San Francisco. 
The Bell Person/ Porter responsibilities focus on deliveries to homes such as luggage, packages, groceries, messages, etc. Additionally, as a Bell Person/ Porter walks the property, they are to assist in picking up and/or cleaning any loose debris or trash that they may find and alert the Front Desk of any condition demanding attention, i.e., maintenance requests.   Schedule: Sunday - Thursday; 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Compensation: $23.00 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that everyone is greeted with the utmost expression of gracious hospitality
  • Ensure the timely delivery of luggage, packages, groceries, messages, etc.
  • Always be available to partner with Front Desk Agents
  • Remain in assigned post position, maintaining correct stance, when not attending to residents or requests
  • Maintain knowledge of:
  • Scheduled daily activities
  • Daily arrivals/departures
  • Features and services provided
  • Hours of operation for various amenities
  • Reflect willingness to accommodate residents, management, and peer requests and ensure first class service
  • Immediately address and resolve all relevant issues ensuring resident and guest satisfaction
  • Support valet in assisting residents and guests into and out of vehicles
  • Assist residents and guests with loading and unloading of luggage, packages, and the like, to/from their vehicles
  • Assure safety and security of all luggage and packages
  • Transport luggage, packages, and the like, to be stored in the parcel storage room or other designated areas
  • Assist residents and guests with delivering/retrieving their bicycles from their bicycle storage lockers
  • Keep a quiet, respectful attitude with residents and guests
  • Clean and maintain common areas when necessary
  • Audit and remove resident items that are improperly stored and debris from storage areas, as assigned
  • Assist in the placement and removal of lobby rain mats
  • Perform an active role in all building emergency procedures
  • Participate in and contribute to training programs
  • Successfully complete training process
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of board meetings or the like
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of events in Residents Club
  • Assist concierge and attend to residents’

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Luxury hotel or luxury property management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a front desk team is strongly preferred.
  • Polished and professional presentation and demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications.
  • Team player.
