We are a group of fast-growing online pharmacies operating at the intersection of health, science, and technology. We serve patients and health-conscious consumers across the UK and EU, with imminent launches in the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

As we continue to grow in the Netherlands, we are seeking an experienced Beherend Apotheker to serve as the Responsible Pharmacist and support the strategic development of our Dutch operations.

About The Role

The Beherend Apotheker will play a critical leadership role within Medetone, acting as the Responsible Pharmacist for our Dutch pharmacy operations and supporting the growth of the business in the Netherlands. This position combines pharmaceutical oversight, regulatory compliance, operational leadership, and commercial awareness to ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Dutch pharmacy regulations while driving operational excellence, service quality, and business performance.

Working Hours

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
• Onsite

Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Registered as a pharmacist and eligible to act as a Beherend Apotheker in the Netherlands.
• Valid BIG registration.
• Strong understanding of Dutch pharmacy legislation and IGJ regulations.
• Relevant professional qualifications required for the role.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within an online pharmacy or digital healthcare environment.
• Exposure to technology-enabled healthcare services.
• Background or interest in technology, digital health, or IT-driven healthcare solutions.
• Experience leading teams and managing operational performance.
