Behavioral Support Specialist - Nisonger Center

Behavioral Support Specialist to provide behavior support services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Nisonger Center; performs functional behavior assessments and analysis; trains family members and staff at community agencies in data collection and implementation of strategies; works with school, residential, day program staff and families to develop behavior support strategies; presents strategies for approval to appropriate review committees and revises as necessary; prepares billing statements; documents individual progress and prepares reports.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Rehabilitation. Licensure (BCBA, LSW, LPC, etc.) desired. Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Social Work preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
60% provides behavior support services to children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities; performs functional behavior assessments; writes behavior support strategies; presents strategies for approval and revises strategies when appropriate
35% trains behavioral strategy implementers such as family members and staff at community agencies in data collection and implementation of behavior support strategies
5% other duties as assigned
