Behavioral Support Paraprofessional

Primary Function: To provide behavioral and supervisory support for students and staff within the building by working collaboratively with the building principal and Family School Liaison (FSL).
Qualifications – Education & Experience:
Associate degree or passing score on ETS ParaPro Assessment required.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the building principal and the Family School Liaison (FSL) to plan for students' behavioral needs and reteaching.
Assist students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts.
Coordinate noon aide support and professional learning.
Attend training in Restorative Practices to be able to run circles if needed and participate in re-entry conferences if needed.
Attend CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.
Participate as a member of the PBIS team and help train others as needed.
Provide intervention supports such as check-in/check-out.
In-school suspension support.
Lunch "study" support.
Openly support and abide by all District Board Policies.
Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance.
Support the Oxford Community Schools vision and mission.
Perform other duties as assigned.
OESPA 2026-27 Base Hourly Rate: $17.20
