Job Description

The Caesar Rodney School District is accepting applications for a full-time Behavioral Support Liaison. This position is temporary for the 2026-2027 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Student Support Personnel Permit. Post-baccalaureate coursework in behavioral science and intervention strategies preferred.

Job Functions:

• Conduct systematic student behavioral observations to identify behavioral patterns, needs, and areas for intervention.
• Collect, document, and analyze student behavioral data to inform intervention strategies and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with school personnel to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized behavioral supports.
• Develop and support the implementation of Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavioral intervention and support plans.
• Provide professional development, coaching, and modeling for school staff to promote the effective implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies.
• Serve as a liaison among schools, families, and students to facilitate communication, coordinate behavioral interventions, and promote consistent behavioral support across settings.

SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
