Behavioral Health Therapist II Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Healthrelated field.
Experience Two years of experience in mental health/substance use disorder treatment, psychoeducational programming including targeted, evidence-based interventions (crisis intervention, trauma, and integrative therapies).
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire.
Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP).
Preferred Qualifications:
Have 2 or more years of direct experience working with LGBTQ+ populations and an understanding of the diverse lived experiences and support needs within the community.
Possess clinical insight into family systems and relational dynamics, with the ability to navigate complex support structures to promote resilience and emotional wellness.
Demonstrate a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and integrative therapeutic modalities with experience in individual therapy across life spans and group therapy.
Can confidently facilitate psychoeducational programming tailored to diverse identity groups and life experiences.
