
Per Diem, Behavioral Health Technician, Intensive Crisis Residence
St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester in Harrison, New York is seeking an experienced, compassionate Behavioral Health Technician for a per diem position in our Intensive Crisis Residence. The ICR will be a licensed, voluntary, short--term residential treatment program for adults experiencing a psychiatric crisis, providing treatment and supports to help residents return to their previous level of functioning in the community.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager and working in collaboration with a multidiscipline team, the Behavioral Health Technician monitors and supports ICR residents on the overnight shift, ensuring a safe environment in coordination with nursing staff.
Requirements: Computer skills, communication skills and at least one year of experience working with adults with serious mental illness is required. A High School Diploma or equivalency is preferred.
Physical Demands: Sitting and standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting may be required; mobility within the ICR is expected.
Pay: 1199 Collective Bargaining Rates
