We are seeking a Clinically licensed LPC or LMSW (preferred).

The Manager provides strong leadership in collaboration with or in the absence of the UHBH Director. Responsible for ensuring excellent service delivery, the Manager leads a diverse team of master's, bachelor's, and non-clinical staff, all while promoting evidence-based practices. They make sure clinical services are documented accurately and on time, track performance improvements, and manage the financial aspects of the treatment team. The Manager also plays a key role in boosting department, program, and service line outcomes.

Must have knowledge and experience with the ASAM framework for substance use and gambling treatment

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or any other related human services field approved by the State of Missouri if hired into the position after July 1, 2023. (Staff hired into position effective prior to 7/1/23 may possess lower level degrees)

  • Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (i.e. RN, Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, etc)

  • Two years’ experience; one of which was working with the behavioral health population.

  • Must be licensed or licensable in the State of Missouri. Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a willingness to work with multicultural staff and clientele.

  • Staff with a master’s degree in social work are required to have a minimum licensure of MO LMSW.

  • If driving is a requirement for the employee, he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment.

  • Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment.
