This role ensures high-quality, timely crisis intervention, stabilization, and linkage to ongoing care while maintaining compliance with regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards. The Licensed Crisis Team Lead provides clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary crisis response team serving individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

The Licensed Crisis Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the clinical and day-to-day operations of a behavioral health crisis team. This role provides direct supervision and guidance to staff while ensuring high-quality crisis intervention, assessment, stabilization, and linkage to appropriate services for individuals in crisis. The Team Lead supports a multidisciplinary team, ensures 24/7 service coverage, and promotes a safe, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to care. They are responsible for monitoring service delivery, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with state, Medicaid, and organizational requirements. Additionally, the role includes coordinating with internal programs and community partners (such as hospitals, law enforcement, and MCOs), supporting staff development and training, and participating in quality assurance and program improvement processes. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a behavioral health field and maintain active licensure (LCMHC or LCSW), along with experience in crisis intervention and clinical leadership.
