At Crisis Connections, every call is an opportunity to save a life, restore stability, and connect someone to compassionate care. As a Crisis Services Clinician, you’ll play a vital leadership role on the front lines of behavioral health—supporting individuals in crisis while guiding and mentoring the staff who answer those calls.

If you thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments and are driven by purpose, this role offers meaningful work, strong team support, and real community impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention via telephone
  • Serve as the clinical lead on shift, supporting and coaching crisis phone staff and volunteers
  • Coordinate crisis response, including hospital diversion, triage, and one-call coordination with first responders
  • Authorize inpatient services when appropriate, prioritizing the least restrictive, safest options
  • Ensure accurate documentation and high clinical standards across all services
  • Collaborate closely with community partners, hospitals, mobile crisis teams, and public mental health agencies

  • Master’s degree in a social science field
  • Eligible for or pursuing Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) licensure or higher

  • Strong clinical judgment, calm decision-making, and comfort in high-pressure situations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly valued

Why Join Crisis Connections?

  • Mission-driven work with immediate, life-changing impact
  • Supportive, collaborative clinical team with ongoing training
  • Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, and retirement options
  • Annual wage increases and opportunities for growth
  • Flexible scheduling, free parking, and transit benefits
  • A workplace that actively values diversity, equity, inclusion, and lived experience
