Reporting to the Supervisor, Behavioral Health the full time, exempt Behavioral Health Clinician is an essential member of a high performing healthcare team. The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) will provide clinical behavioral health services to assure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered. In addition, the BHC will uphold the health center’s mission and quality standards which result in better patient health outcomes, overall satisfaction, and stronger operational and fiscal capacity of the health center. The BHC will adhere to Honor Community Health (HCH) policies and procedures while carrying out and monitoring a wide range of clinical processes. The BHC will maintain strong internal and external relationships, serving as liaison on behalf of HCH’s centers. The BHC works collaboratively to create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality behavioral health care to all. Productivity expectation of a trained BHC is an average of 10 or more behavioral health consultations/counseling per clinical day.
Honor Community Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) to support two primary care clinics located within senior living communities in Ferndale and Hazel Park. This unique role offers the opportunity to provide integrated behavioral health services to older adults, helping address the behavioral health needs of an aging population. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in working with older adults, with specialized training, experience, or expertise in geriatric behavioral health preferred.
While the primary work location will be the Ferndale and Hazel Park senior living centers, the clinician may occasionally provide services at other Honor Community Health locations as needed. The majority of patients served will be older adults; however, the clinician may occasionally provide behavioral health services to adults of other ages when operational needs arise.
