Remote Location: Remote role supporting multiple markets; majority of caseload in California

Licensure Requirement: Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent)

Experience Required: 3+ years post‑licensure

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician to join our integrated primary care team. This fully remote role provides independent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health and substance use conditions across outpatient, virtual, and primary care settings. You’ll manage a complex patient panel, deliver evidence‑based psychotherapy, collaborate closely with primary care and psychiatry, and mentor junior behavioral health staff.

Because a large portion of the caseload resides in California, only candidates with an active California clinical license will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM‑5‑TR diagnoses
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse mental health and substance use conditions
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and problem‑solving therapy
  • Manage patient risk through safety assessments, crisis intervention, and higher‑level‑of‑care coordination
  • Partner with psychiatry, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, whole‑person care
  • Participate in clinical quality initiatives, case consultations, peer review, and outcomes monitoring
  • Mentor Behavioral Health Consultants and junior clinical staff
  • Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate with psychiatric consultants and PCPs to manage patient panels and communicate recommendations

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent)
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
  • 3+ years post‑licensure providing psychotherapy across diverse populations
  • Advanced training or competency in at least one evidence‑based modality (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PST, trauma‑focused therapy, etc.)
  • Experience with high‑acuity situations including crisis intervention and safety planning
  • Strong EHR documentation skills and familiarity with regulatory and payor requirements
  • Ability to work independently across multiple care settings with minimal supervision
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort managing complex cases

Compensation Range:

$32.21

to

$48.32

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
