
The Clinical Assessment Specialist is responsible for brief clinical screening of patients referred to the Certified Community Behavior Health Clinic (CCBHC) who may be experiencing moderate to severe symptoms. Provides comprehensive mental health and substance use assessment, triage recommendations and educational services when children, families and adults referred to the CCBHC are experiencing high severity or crisis symptoms that put them at significant risk for hospitalization or other higher levels of care. The Clinical Assessment Specialist will also have a small caseload of patients with whom they are providing mental health therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and/or case management services.
$57,000 - $85,250 DOE
Longevity bonus:
$6,000 after one year of full-time employment.
$6,000 after two years of full-time employment.
$8,000 after three years of full-time employment.
Production bonus also available.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or an equivalent field. Current State of Idaho Clinical Social Worker/Counselor license in good standing required or license eligible.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Position requires: a) provision of intensive, integrated professional mental health services and treatment planning in a clinical and/or outpatient environment; b) provision of professional leadership in the determination of appropriate therapeutic approaches and methods; c) planning and implementing outreach/education programs, workshops, and activities; d) supervising clinical activities of therapists, students, and/or interns within area of specialty when appropriate; and e) establishment and maintenance of case files and related documents for clinical and legal purposes.
