Working closely with behavioral health leadership, you will help address day-to-day health needs, participate in the team on-call rotation, and provide direct support when needed to ensure continuous, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

  • Perform monthly safety drills and maintain required documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

  • Maintain emergency equipment, first aid kits, and medical supplies across program sites.

  • Ensure non-aversive behavior management techniques are utilized in alignment with client crisis plans, actively safeguarding client rights and confidentiality.

  • Participate in agency safety programs, including emergency response, evacuation, and disaster procedures.

Direct Support & Team Collaboration

  • Provide direct support coverage and fulfill Residential Technician duties as assigned to maintain program operations and staff-to-client ratios.

  • Participate in the team on-call rotation and assist with shift coverage in a financially responsible manner to minimize unnecessary overtime.

  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding client care, trends, and site conditions.

  • Facilitate and participate in team trainings on health, safety, and crisis response.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Organization & Detail: Strong task prioritization, file management, and precise documentation habits.

  • Communication: Clear and empathetic verbal and written communication with clients, colleagues, and healthcare partners.

  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: A solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic residential setting.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

Certifications & Clearances

  • Active CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic documentation systems.

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to meet physical job demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs and supporting emergency/safety procedures.

  • Valid Driver's License, active auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record (willingness to use a personal vehicle for work duties when agency vehicles are unavailable).

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% between program sites and work a flexible schedule (including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call duties).
