Job Description

Job Location KIRKWOOD - Wilmington, DESalary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly

of Position:

Assists the clinical staff with the daily tasks to include ensuring the safety and welfare of all consumers, maintaining building safety and security, and providing general coverage and duties in support of the program's mission

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must demonstrate genuine empathy and concern for individuals as indicated in our corporate vision, mission, and values statements.

Ability to read and write in order to perform agency required documentation.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the ASAM, Medical model, Recovery model and 12-step model of treatment.
  • Maintenance of a Driver’s License and approval by NET’s automotive insurance carrier
  • Obtain and maintain CPR, and first aid certifications.
  • Adhere to applicable city, county, state, and federal laws and regulations, NET's policies, DDAP licensure, and CARF standards



Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience in Addiction Recovery, Human Services/Behavioral Healthcare field or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in order to effectively problem-solve
  • Must be a team player, patient, flexible, and have the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate fashion in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in an administrative/clerical capacity required

NET Centers (NET) offers support and hope to individuals and families at times of great stress in their lives. A nonprofit agency, NET provides a continuum of trauma informed behavioral health and social services designed to meet complex needs of all family members. These include mental health, addiction treatment, foster care, residential group care, adoption, juvenile justice services and child welfare services. While some services address the needs of the family as a whole and some target individuals, we always strive to foster positive connections within the family to help all family members heal, recover and rebuild

What is a Community Umbrella Agency (CUA)? Community Umbrella Agencies (CUA’s) are community-based agencies that are responsible for providing direct case management services to families in their designated region. The CUA’s ensure that local solutions and resources are more accessible to children and families. Through community engagement initiatives, CUA staff develop connections to formal and informal neighborhood networks that can strengthen and stabilize families. They also recruit and retain foster and adoptive parents in the neighborhoods where children live.
