Job Description

Position Available: NDIS Registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

About the Role:

Join a dynamic team at our Southport Clinic based on the Gold Coast, specializing in NDIS services. As an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Implementing behaviour support services aligned with NDIS safeguards, focusing on positive behaviour change.
  • Developing individualised plans to meet participants' goals and enhance their quality of life.
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and creating Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
  • Managing administrative tasks including record-keeping and billing.
  • Advocating for participant rights and promoting community inclusion.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Experience in NDIS service delivery and a solid understanding of NDIS frameworks and funding.
  • Current NDIS Screening, Working with Children Checks, and NDIS Practitioner ID.

Desirable Criteria:

  • BCBA or Behaviour Technician registration.
  • Experience in clinical settings with individuals with disabilities.
