Behavior Support Clinician II – $6,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: Ability Beyond – Based in the Greater Danbury Area

Schedule: 30 hours per week with flexibility

Salary: $25.96 per hour ($40,500 annually based on a 30-hour per week schedule)

Sign-On Bonus: $6,000

As a Behavior Support Clinician II, you will provide advanced behavioral support to adults with intellectual, developmental, behavioral health, and mental health needs. You will develop individualized treatment strategies, support therapeutic programming, and help individuals build skills that promote greater independence and quality of life.

What You Will Do

  • Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans using ABA principles and Positive Behavior Supports
  • Monitor treatment integrity, analyze behavioral data, and adjust programming as needed
  • Build therapeutic relationships and integrate behavioral strategies into everyday supports
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to residential and program staff
  • Partner with Residential Program Managers to support programming, crisis response, and overall program quality
  • Participate in intake, transition, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, outpatient providers, families, and community partners
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory reports

What You Will Need

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field required; MSW preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries required
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral principles required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
