Job Description

  • Support with direct services-i.e.- crisis support with behaviors, as needed, and triage with stakeholders. 
  • Train direct care staff, as needed. 
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across settings. Serve as a liaison between YMCA program and the school based and other teams working with children and families. 
  • Work in collaboration with the YMCA social workers/SEL team 
  • Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to inform interventions and program decisions. 
  • Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and YMCA policies. 
  • Attend team meetings, trainings, and family consultations as scheduled. 
  • Provide consultation and coaching to program staff on implementing behavior strategies and supports. 
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. BCBA preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with children and youth with developmental, behavioral, or learning differences. 
  • Knowledge of ABA principles, positive behavior supports, and inclusive practices. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, child-centered environment. 
  • Must pass EEC background checks and meet YMCA child protection standards. 
  • Experience working with trauma informed practices. 
  • Part-time  (approx. 10–15 hours/week depending on program needs). Typically 7-9 am or 3-6 pm depending on the needs of the program
