Job Description

Behavior Analyst role with no billable hours, no evenings or weekends, and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. Hands-on clinical work supporting adults in structured day programs with a focus on real-world outcomes.

👉 A Different Kind of Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Role

At Dungarvin, we support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living as independently as possible through person-centered, community-based services. Our programs focus on real-life outcomes, consistency, and long-term progress.

This Behavior Analyst role is designed for clinicians who want to stay hands-on and clinically engaged, working directly with staff and individuals in day program settings rather than operating in a clinic-only environment.

You’ll support behavior services across our adult day programs in Fairfield and Vacaville, helping teams implement effective strategies, strengthen consistency, and create meaningful progress over time.

What Makes This Role Different

  • No billable hour requirements
  • No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
  • Consistent Monday - Friday schedule (8:00am - 5:00pm)
  • Hands-on clinical work in real-world settings
  • Adult-focused services in structured day programs

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being present in the work, collaborating with teams, and seeing how their clinical decisions directly impact daily routines and quality of life.

Perks & Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $89,187 / year
  • Full wage scale: $89,187 - $96,749.13 ( Future increases within the posted range are based on tenure and performance per Dungarvin’s compensation guidelines.)
  • Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
  • Supplemental Insurance
  • Flex Spending and HSA Account
  • Pet Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • 401 K plan with up to 3% employer match based on eligibility requirements
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Growth and Development Opportunities
  • Employee Referral Program
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid training and orientation

What You’ll Do

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Providing direct clinical support within day programs to ensure strategies are practical and effective
  • Partnering with program staff to support consistent implementation of behavior supports
  • Reviewing data, monitoring progress, and making adjustments to improve outcomes
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including families and external partners as needed
  • Supporting staff during complex or escalated behavioral situations
  • Promoting independence, inclusion, and quality of life in community-based settings
  • Ensuring services are aligned with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

What to Expect In This Role

  • This is not a remote position and requires regular on-site presence in programs
  • You will be working directly with staff and individuals in a hands-on environment
  • The role is focused on clinical support and collaboration, not supervision or staff management

If you are looking for a stable weekday schedule, meaningful clinical work with adults, building relationships with staff, seeing real progress over time, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive organization, this role offers that balance.
