Applications for this year's Becky Counts on You program are now open!

The program has been carefully designed with the aim of supporting young talents to master the basics of Dutch accounting and auditing work through the two-week program of our Becky Academy!

During the Academy, you will have the opportunity to learn about:

• Dutch culture and cultural differences
• An introduction to Dutch accounting
• Work in Dutch accounting software
• Taxes in the Netherlands
• Application of tax regulations in the Netherlands, Dutch accounting standards
• Regulatory bodies in the Netherlands
• Reminding of the basics of double-entry bookkeeping
• Financial statements, reporting, and analysis of a practical example
• A review of the stages of the audit from planning, setting risks to issuing an opinion
• Specifics of Dutch audit procedures

What is expected of you:

• That you are in the final year of an economics program and/or have recently graduated.
• High motivation for learning and acquiring knowledge
• You like working with numbers and analyzing data

After the selection process, the three most successful students will be given the opportunity to attend the Becky Academy, and later to compete for the opportunity to become part of the Becky team!

By the first of July, we will announce the participants and, in agreement with their obligations, we will organize the dates of attending the academy in the fall.
