The role

Your days will be spent working alongside our dedicated team of Trainers who are passionate about all things beauty, skincare and fragrance. Using your extensive beauty knowledge and exceptional communication skills, you will deliver best practice classroom, virtual and onsite training in relation to our luxury brand range

This is a Sydney based role and you will work out of our head office in Banksmeadow where you will work closely with our Marketing and Sales departments and other internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver training modules. You will also travel locally and (occasionally) interstate to share your skills and knowledge with our passionate teams of consultants. There may also be some overseas travel requirements as you embrace the opportunity to attend international brand conferences to learn about new releases and best practice training standards.

You will work across a dedicated portfolio of brands along with supporting the other training team members from time to time on their portfolios.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and deliver training materials for your portfolio for Beauty, Skincare and Fragrance
  • Being the key trainer for your allocated portfolio including teaching facial, beauty and fragrance techniques and product knowledge
  • Counter coaching, support and elevation
  • Digital asset creation to support consultant knowledge development
  • Regular monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of training delivery
  • Review and improve training processes
  • Scheduling and organisation of national training calendar
  • Develop onboarding training material for Consultants and Counter Managers
  • Attend and help facilitate PR events
  • Delivering weekly onsite training with Consultants within Department Stores
  • Training budget management and analysis
  • Delivering and recording online and live training sessions
  • And other related tasks

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years demonstrated experience within the beauty and/or fragrance industry
  • Experience in facials and/or Beauty Therapy preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of training material is ideal
  • Qualifications or equivalent experience in Beauty Therapy and Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Intermediate Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent attention to detail & organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask

Please note:

Local and occasional interstate / offshore travel is a requirement of this role so it is ideal if you have your own car and a drivers licence. You do need to be available for occasional overseas travel for brand related Train-the Trainer events.

This is a permanent role and we are not offering visa sponsorship so you must have full (ongoing) work rights in Australia.
