About the role

Clé de Peau Beauté is excited to invite experienced part-time Beauty Advisors (referred to as Personalised Beauty Specialists, or PBS) to be among the first to represent the brand at David Jones Bourke Street, Melbourne in this permanent part time role 25 hours per week.

You will help craft an exceptional “omotenashi” memorable shopping experience for your customers and will play a pivotal role in delivering expert advice on the Cle de Peau Beaute premium skincare and makeup collections while leading the in-store sales process.

You are a passionate individual with a deep understanding of the Clé de Peau Beauté brand and its products. You have a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, professional demeanour.

You are motivated, eager to engage with customers, committed to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment, and will contribute to delivering the highest level of service and luxury to your clientele.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide expert advice to customers on Clé de Peau Beauté’s product line, including skincare, makeup collection, and facial services.
• Work as part of a strong sales team to promote products and achieve personal and counter sales targets
• Engage with customers in a positive and motivational manner while providing excellent personalized services
• Remain knowledgeable about the Clé de Peau Beauté brand and product line.
• Serve as the brand ambassador by educating customers on the brand’s unique philosophies
• Participate in store events and new product launches, including PR events

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in skincare retail, ideally within the luxury space.
• Ideally have worked within the department store environment
• Hold a certificate in Makeup Artistry or have equivalent experience.
• Have excellent communication skills, and it would be an added advantage if you speak a second language.
• You possess a positive work attitude, are self-motivated and a team player.
• You are willing to work across all store hours, including weekends and public holidays.
